Two Films. Four Seminars. One Mission
Brothers At War and Brothers After War tell the full story of today’s warrior — from life on the frontlines to the long road home. Together, these powerful documentaries invite audiences into the realities of combat, family, service, loss, resilience, and the struggle many veterans face as they transition back into civilian life.
But the mission does not end with the films.
With the support of the Gary Sinise Foundation, the stories on screen have become a national movement of live workshops and seminars for service members, veterans, first responders, and their families. These free experiences use film, guided reflection, journaling, and honest conversation to help participants connect, heal, and know they are not alone.
“While we can never do enough for our defenders and their loved ones, we can always do a little more.”
- Gary Sinise

SEMINARS & HEALING
Our Brothers At War Workshops and Brothers After War Seminars use the power of film, guided reflection, and honest conversation to help service members, veterans, first responders, and families talk about the experiences they often carry alone. Through documentary storytelling, journaling, resilience skills, and facilitated discussion, participants are invited to reflect on service, sacrifice, family, transition, loss, and the path toward healing. Led by military-connected facilitators, these experiences create a safe and meaningful space for people to reconnect with themselves, their loved ones, and their community. Whether on a military installation or in a local theater, our seminars help turn shared stories into connection, understanding, and hope. Movies make tough subjects easier to talk about — and these programs help people begin the conversations that matter most.
