Brothers At War Workshops

The award-winning Brothers At War makes tough subjects easier to talk about for our Service Members, who see their story in this film. The Workshop uses this catalyst to have participants journal and then participate in a facilitated group discussion about universal issues faced by Service Members and their Families. Created by director and producer Jake Rademacher, this Workshop gets in front of stressors faced during the reintegration process and focuses on posttraumatic growth through an insider’s lens. The Brothers At War Workshop has been conducted for more 40,000 over the last two decades.

Gary Sinise has been heavily involved with these workshops from the beginning – sponsoring the first tour. Now, the Gary Sinise Foundation is sponsoring these workshops for military and veteran units!

Film Synopsis

In BROTHERS AT WAR, Jake Rademacher risks everything—including his life—to tell his brothers’ story. Often humorous, but sometimes downright lethal, a remarkable journey where Jake embeds with four combat units in Iraq. BROTHERS AT WAR provides a rare look at the bonds and service of our warfighters on the frontlines and the profound effects their service has on the loved ones they leave behind.
