About Brothers After War

Isaac Rademacher in a cemetary

In Brothers After War, Jake Rademacher reconnects with his brothers, elite Soldiers and Marines he embedded with during the Iraq War. Intercutting footage past and present, he leads us on an insightful, humorous, and moving journey as we watch twelve men and women explore loss, meaning, and hope on their path from warfighter to veteran. From Executive Producer Gary Sinise, Brothers After War will be released in early 2025.

In Brothers at War, Jake Rademacher embeds with four combat units and films his brothers’ experiences as Soldiers in Iraq. Rademacher witnesses secret reconnaissance missions on the Syrian border, sniper “hide sites” in the Sunni Triangle, and fierce gun battles with the Marines and Iraqi Army. Following his brothers home to the U.S., Jake records the ripple effect their life-threatening work has had on friends and family. Brothers at War became a workshop that has been conducted for more than 40,0000 Service Members and their Families.
